Was wondering what is the best program for p2p? I mean I was going to try limeware but I have never installed a BIN file before? Look on the net on how to install with a BIN extension with no luck with the instuctions? chmod a+x LimeWireLinux.bin./LimeWireLinux.bin
No Java virtual machine for this system's environment...
Anyone know if
Limware is good or anything that is better? Or what am I doing wrong to install this bin file? I tried gtk-gnutella but it sucks
cause not that many use it cause I cant seem to download anything compared to Kazza? Actually what program do use for p2p?

just a note on Kazaa.....TAKE IT OFF YOU COMPUTER.....i hear it comes with spy-ware..sends information about your computer over the internet....Morpheous on the other hand doesnt...although Morpheous recently changed their look....i really dont like it much...but these programs run under that other expensive OS.

Kazaa does come with spyware. But there's an unofficial version out there, called Kazaa Lite, which doesn't include it. It's the same Kazaa program, but altered with the use of dummy DLLs and such so it doesn't include spyware.
Morpheus now uses the Gnutella network (Kazaa uses Fasttrack), and you can get Gnutella on Linux. AFAIK, there's no Fasttrack client for Linux (I'd be veery happy if there was one ).
Thereīs a great new alternative called giFT http://gift.sourceforge.net which look pretty promising. Itīs stil in development, i have just downloaded the cvs version, and it runs pretty smooth and alot faster downloads than i could get with kazaa
