Ok...

I've been busting my head trying to get Kaspersky AVP/KAV to work with Sendmail on Redhat for the past week. I've tried two different machines(RH 6.2 & RH 7.2)...I've followed the instructions in the manual to the T and even experimented heavily with everything I can think of.

It installs fine, starts fine(sometimes).

However, when I run sendmail with the changes made in the .mc file, sendmail doesn't transfer mail.

Also, when doing the test with sendmail -bt that is suggested in the manual, (3,0 user@domain.com), I can see that the KAV program is NOT converting the email to .com.KAV like it should be doing.

Basically, I'm stuck. I spent $800 on this prog and I've contacted Kaspersky labs twice already with no response.

Any ideas?

Bumped up sendmail's loglevel and checked the logfiles? Any clue from diffing pre-KAV and KAV version of sendmail.mc for changes?

Weird you had no reply (yet), Ive had some issues with AVP (W32 platform tho) in the past and all where picked up within a fortnight by UK/RU offices.
