k3b joliet rockridge file name length thing

Tried to burn files with like 150 chr's long names.

Included file systems:
rock ridge
joliet

k3b gives warning that it has to shorten filenames due to restrictions in joliet, which I allow.

It burned OK.

When I mount it, I don't see whole name, only 64 chr long names (joliet length).

When I burn it with rockridge only, I see full name OK.

Let me see if I get this straight:
When I shorten names on files to be burned to the joliet fs spec, it ALSO shortens those names in the rockridge fs (although rockridge has a limit of 255)?

Is this how it works?

I tried:
k3b 1.0.1
k3b 0.12.16

Thanks...

Sorry, the best you can do is 103 characters with joliet.

K3B 1.0.1 Burn-->File System Tab-->File System Custom button

Hi again,

I've done some tests, and this is what I found:

Code:
cat /tmp/filelist

12345678_10_345678_20_345678_30_345678_40_345678_50_345678_60_345678_70_345678_80_345678_90_345678_100_45678_110_45678_120_45678_130_45678_140_45678_150_45678_160_45678_170_456789/12345678_10_345678_20_345678_30_345678_40_345678_50_345678_60_345678_70_345678_80_345678_90_345678_100_45678_110_45678_120_45678_130_45678_140_45678_150_45678_160_45678_170_456789.txt=/tmp/12345678_10_345678_20_345678_30_345678_40_345678_50_345678_60_345678_70_345678_80_345678_90_345678_100_45678_110_45678_120_45678_130_45678_140_45678_150_45678_160_45678_170_456789/12345678_10_345678_20_345678_30_345678_40_345678_50_345678_60_345678_70_345678_80_345678_90_345678_100_45678_110_45678_120_45678_130_45678_140_45678_150_45678_160_45678_170_456789.txt
Made an iso image with k3b v1.0.1:
include rockridge
include joliet
# burned 1 file (same file as above)
result:names truncated to 64 (even with mount option nojoliet )

Made an iso image with k3b v1.0.1:
include rockridge
# burned 1 file (same file as above)
result:names full

Then I made an iso whith this command:
/usr/bin/mkisofs -r -J -graft-points -o /tmp/test-01-r-J.iso -path-list /tmp/filelist

result:
no special mount option > reads rockridge fs > names OK
mount option norock > reads joliet fs > names truncated to 64
mount option norock,nojoliet > reads iso9660 fs > names truncated to 8

Conclusion:
k3b has temp files here: /tmp/kde-USER/k3b*
I looked inside them and saw only the 64 chr names, never any full names;

k3b USES JOLIET NAMES ALSO FOR ROCKRIDGE

I don't know if I've missed something or if this is intended or a bug or what, but I'm gonna ask this over at k3b.
