Any help is appreciated!

kmail set-up

OK, here's the plan:

1. in kmail, go to Settings -> Configuration
2. in Configure - Kmail dialog under "Network"
3. modify the relevant account (bottom window)
4. uncheck the "Delete mail from server" box.

I hope this solves your problem with mail disappearing from the server. As to getting the mail from kmail back to the server, you could probably just forward it to yourself.

use IMAP instead of POP3

The "leave mail on server" kludge that most MUAs (email programs) is just that -- a kludge. I would strongly suggest using IMAP in KMail and Exchange - leave the email on the server, where it is backed up and accessible from anywhere.

Hi All,

Thank you so much for your help. I am now able to fix my problem and yes, i am using IMAP to configure to read my mails from exchange.
