just need a little guidence please


just would like to know where I can learn how to connect to the internet on a linux box through a windows box.

I just found my answer in the networking forum.
so unless you just have some creative ideas you want to throw at me, you can forget this thread

internet connection sharing

I did this before. On the windows box I set up "internet connection sharing" (it comes with windows 98, you may have to put in your win CD and install it). Once this is set up, your windows box is now a "DHCP" server. Just set up your Linux box to use DHCP and your all set!
