Just a rant, but....free enterprise my ass

Ths is irrelevant to anything but...

As a freelance contracter I am getting really ******* off.

At the bare mention of Linux as a solutuion to companies IT needs there is practically choking on their ham sandwiches. So who are we gonna call when something goes wrong? Why are you employing people that don't know how to sort things out? A fact I've pointed out many a time. Let's pay for support AND IT staff,
bollocks.

I've made pLenty a presentation to small companies explaning why you really don't need this and this will surfice still they go for the stupid MS soution with people that have dumb MSCE qualifications, a qualification that means basically **** all, you know how to click a ******* mouse, anything that deviates call support.

Deep breathe, business is not business, it's what pappa would have done. Sorry but...

Pardon the language.

:( You could and should edit your language. We have lots of underage folk here and it doesn't set a good example.

I edited and closed for the following reasons:

1. Showing prejudice against particular groups with certain certifications.
2. This thread is flaming/attacking others which is not allowed.
3. Wrong forum, not a Linux related technical question in the post. Should have been posted in General, but even the other reasons stated above would have caused this thread to be closed.
4. Were all about opinions expressed on this site, but under certain circumstances, these are not the opinions we like to display on this open forum.
