ISV looking to distribute RedHat-7.3, unsure what media is required by GPL

Hi,

I work for a company that distributes our product on the RedHat-7.3 platform.

We have modified the comps file (list of packages) that will be installed so that only a custom set of (stock) RedHat .rpms and our own software will be deployed. Other than that, we have not modified any GPL code.

Since we have not modified any GPL code, is it required to release the source code for the RedHat distribution, or is it sufficient to simply provide a reference to the RedHat website so our customers can download it themselves?

What do other companies do?

I am sure you can redistribute it as long as the source code is accessible to the customers but not necessarily from you.
