ISO images


I downloaded fedora and mandrake, however i cannot get the ISO to burn to a CD using toster that leaves them usable. I get the info burned on to them, they just can't allow a boot from cd. i have tried on nemourse comps, and it just does not work
any help? thanks,

try:
for 2.6 kernel
cdrecord -v dev=/dev/hdx -eject filename.iso
x=your cd burner
for 2.4
cdrecord -v dev=0,0,0 -eject filename.iso

Make sure you choose the option burn image file(which looks for .iso files) instead of trying to just burn a data cd.
