Is usb sopport available in virtualbox-ose?

Hey linux folks,

I've installed virtualbox-ose, this is the open source edition.

The program is working fine, but I can't find anywhere to add or enable usb support.
I'm guessing USB is not available in the open source version of virtualbox.

If it is supported in virtualbox-ose, how do I enable it. Thanks in advance

It's not part of the Open Source Edition: http://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Editions

Thanks pwc101 for the prompt reply. I've checked the website and the closed source version supports it.

Hi... I've been looking for posts regarding the same issue, and I have found these two:

, though I haven't tried them as I haven't installed VirtualBox yet (almost, tho)

I just though it might still be of help. If you have had any success with the OSE version and USB, please let us know!
