Is there a really working alternative to ACDSEE?

gqview is the only one, but you have to press X each time for each pictures, to resize fit/screen the pic.

kuickshow debian stable has no thumbnail
gthumb, either

Any ideas?

Best regards

I use kuickshow, it does have thumbnail view. Look in the toolbar under View -> Thumbnail Previews.

You can also shrink/enlarge all pictures to screen size as a default setting.

thank you!!
I will check it when i get back to the command of linux box.

I noticed that when you open a jpg with konqueror "open with", I had troubles to get back into thumbnail viewer to check the potentially interesting other pictures.
