irssi channel join automation

I want to automate joining channel. Basically, when I type "irssi" it will automatically join and freenode, authenticate my password and join the channel by splitting windows).

Can I do this in the config file?

My config file -

{ address = ""; chatnet = "DALnet"; port = "6667"; },
{ address = ""; chatnet = "freenode"; port = "6667"; };

chatnets = {
DALnet = {
type = "IRC";
max_kicks = "4";
max_modes = "6";
max_msgs = "3";
max_whois = "30";
freenode = {
type = "IRC";
max_kicks = "4";
max_modes = "4";
max_msgs = "1";
max_whois = "1";

channels = (
{ name = "#irssi"; chatnet = "ircnet"; autojoin = "Yes"; },
{ name = "#irssi"; chatnet = "freenode"; autojoin = "Yes"; }

Didn't irssi have some /channel add -command that does the automation? Sorry I haven't used irssi for a long long time, but I recall it was as easy as eating a pie start irssi and give /help channel command and see if I was right..
