irc client KSirc

I am using an irc client called KSirc (it's the default one that comes with KDE on Red Hat 7.2).

By default, I can't receive files with a .exe extension, when a user tries to dcc send it to me.

What is the command to allow a particular user to dcc send me a file with a .exe extension?

On my Windows box, with mIRC, the command is /dccallow +nick

But that command does not work for KSirc.

You know, i tried that client myself and i found it horrible. I recommend you download X-Chat client, it is MUCH MUCH better than even mIRC for windows and comes with all the tools u need.

I also recommend against KSirc.. And have found xchat to be much better.

I dont know if its better than mIRC though.. Maybe I am just too used to mIRC though.

Works fine for me - never crashed once. Using Mandrake 8.1 with Gnome on an AMD Athlon 1.4Gig. It's a very nice chat client.
