ipod on linux (gtkpod)

I can mount the ipod, using gtkpod, I see all the songs on there. Problem is, the Do not disconnect" message on the ipod stays on forever even after I exit gtkpod. I eventually, have to do a reset on the ipod. Any ideas, what I could do?

I also did a umount but the message doesn't go away!

I got it. I type in " eject /dev/sda " and the message goes away.
