IP Address of a client of Internet connection Sharing
I have 2 systems.
1 - (A)Windows 2000 with ICS(Internet COnnection Sharing) setup
1 - (B)Linux Box using the ICS of the Win2k machine to access the internet.
Machine A has a dhcp Internet address assigned to it.
Machine B is assigned 192.168.0.whatever by A.
How do I figure out the IP address of Machine B so I can access it from work?
I was doing this b4 with 2 Win2k machines, The B machine reported 192.168.0.whatever when I used ipconfig, but under mIRC it found another IP address like 24.100.x.x. which allowed access from outside my home network.
I cannot get this same setup to work any longer.
Do I have to setup routing of some sort?
Any ideas would help.
