to open 1 url or see 1 mail +/- 10 minuts, and i have cable 1mg
Hey j.vilon What distribution/kernel are you using? Is it always slow?? What browser are you using? IMHO its not very wise to have broadband access and no firewall. Maby someone is using your computer a a proxy??
What is your hardware like? How much ram do you have? What is your processor? etc.
Type in "top" in a terminal and see if there are any applications using alot of your cpu. Copy and paste a portion from your "top" window and lets see what is going on.
I cannot see were you might have a problem, especially with your hardware. Is it just the internet you are having problems with? Can you load applications without a problem? Have you checked with you ISP to make sure it is not a problem on their end? Have you tried an online bandwith test? Try this and see what you get: http://bandwidthplace.com/speedtest/
