The radio station I work for would like to start streaming audio on the internet. Preferably with Icecast, Shoutcast or something open source that runs on linux. The problem is that our bandwidth is not all that great and would get sucked up with just a few listeners. What we need is someone or somebody that'll will re-broadcast the stream we send their way and they with more bandwidth won't have any problem doing that. What we need is a reliable provider that's not too expensive (This is a non-profit radio station that depends on donations). If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears.

I don't know any of the technical details, but I've always been partial to http://www.live365.com/broadcast/ for listening. They claim to be the cheapest, and they apparently understand relaying the signal. I don't know whether or not they deal with the relaying company, or whether they expect you to handle that aspect of it.
