Im very new to linux and still trying to plow my way through it. I dont have much of an idea as to what is causing the problem so I dont know what to post as far as info to help fix this.
Anywway, here is the deal. I just did a fresh install of Suse 10.1 And got it all updated and seems to be running good. The only problem so far is that checking email and loading web pages takes a very long time, 30 seconds or more just to load a web page and thats with any page. Email can take upwards of a minute. I can plug my XP laptop in and it blazes through with near instant loading speeds on any page and email is instant as well. So Iv come to the conclusion that there must be some settings in Suse that need to be adjusted. Any help would be greatly appreciated and if you need any info, just let me know what you need and a basic idea on how to get it and Ill post it. Thanks everyone.

Once you get the web pages open and start surfing the web, is it fast then?
