He really addresses some good questions. Topics covered include - why Red Hat shipped a development kernel with their 7.0 distribution, journaling filesystems, the openness of ecos, and the competition (which BTW he considers SUN and Microsoft, NOT other Linux distros).

That is because this thread is almost 5 years old. Please immediately stop digging up threads for the sole reason of getting them off the 0 reply list. If you have something legitimate to add, feel free. This however is just short of spamming. I am going to go through the 40+ other threads and remove the posts.
