Instant Messenger Q...needed for MSN

I've been using gaim for quite some time and it performs all I need, but alot of my windows friends that I use to chat with using gaim are switching to msn-messenger...I was wondering, is there a linux version or a substiute program that I could use to chat with my msn-messenger buddies...??..please advise and thanks for your reply...

Gaim can be used to chat with MSN messenger users...

i believe (have not checked myself) that AMSN's latest version should be another up-to-date option

Kmess and Kopete may also be of assistance

let i know

http://amsn.sourceforge.net

If you use the Mozilla Firebird browser then there is an extension that can be downloaded that can put a msn messenger in a side bar.

I use GAIM for MSN. I couldn't get AMSN to work properly, but that's just me not knowing what I'm doing. ;]
