There are a couple of ways to check and see if they are loaded. You can do a

cd /usr/src

and check for the linux-2.4 directory, or you can

rpm -qa | grep kernel

If they are loaded, you will get something like this:

kernel-source-2.4.18-14

If you do not have the sources loaded, I believe you will see in the RPM's on the CD's (CD1 I think) kernel-source-2.4.18-14.rpm

You can copy that file to /tmp and then do (as root)

rmp -ivh kernel-source-2.4.18-14.rpm

Cheers--

still cannot get it

i have the same problem.

I did
rpm -qa | grep kernel

and got
kernel-source-2.4.18-14

BUT.. when i tried doing

rmp -ivh kernel-source-2.4.18-14.rpm
in directory SRPMS
its not there..
i see when i do dir kerne*.*
kernel-2.4.18-14.src.rpm
kernel-pcmcia-cs-3.1.31.9-src.rpm

there is no kernel-source.....

how do i proceed?
