installing smallbasic on linux mandriva 2006

I am trying to install smallbasic on linux mandriva 2006 but without success. I do decompress using tar, but none of the options for make are working: make fb, make sdl,etc... I do have sdl and it should work, but the return is an error. Has somebody has the solutions? thanks a lot,
zoba

Hi Zoba,

There are a number of linux binaries that you could d/l and use directly ootb.
Just check the bottom of the smallbasic home page.

If you want to build from source the best option is to obtain sources directly from CSV. For details click: "other files and previous versions", then click code/CVS. Current code lives under the sbrs3 module.

See README.TXT for details on the various build options.

Give it a try and let us/me know how you go. If you have any further questions I'd be happy to answer them.

It *is* NYE so sorry if my reply is a bit incoherrent :)
