I am still struggling to install Linux on my new computer. Now for more than a month I am struggling to install. Yesterday I bought the SuSE Linux 10.0 DVD.
My computer is very new. It is a 64 bit
computer. It has a mother board from '' ALi " .
I can't install the SuSE Linux. The message is as follows:
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
Probing hard disks
----------------
Error
-----
No hard disks were found for the installation. Please check your hardware.

What shall I do?
[I have had Mandrake Linux for over 2 years. The computer went to hell. Now I bought this new 64 bit computer. I tried to install RedHat Fedora. It didn' t work either. The problems are impossible to solve. Some friends in this forum asked me to go to the motherboard manufacturers' home page and download some drivers to solve the installation problem of Fedora. It doesn't recognize the floppy drives. I made several floppies which has drivers. None of the floppies don't recognize.]

I am really, really, really fed up nowadays. How can I live without Linux? I hope some of you can come up with a new idea as to the installation of SuSE 10.0
