I downloaded the .tar.gz package. You might want to try the netscape java plugin.

Ok, i can't find where to download the Java plug-in for netscape. I tried the tar.gz but maybe i did something wrong can you guide me ?

I install the netscape java plugin by starting netscape as root and surfing to a trusted page that needs java then clicking on the download link that pops up, you need to be root to install it but its not a good idea to surf as root, I only do it to install the NS java plugin.

Hey, you might wanna read my other post about making users and you'll see why i only use _root account.

Can i delete Mozilla? since it installed the plugins for Netscape but not Mozilla

and I have java 1.3.1 from blackdown installed and the PATH variable is set so that it sees /usr/j2sdk1.3.1/bin before the /usr/bin, so it is using java 1.3.1 from blackdown instead of java that was once installed during the installation of OS; all my progs are compiled and ran by blackdown java without probs. Only LimeWire gives me creaps about it.
And Aussie no offense by I got knock down by ppl here for running netscape as root
