Installing Linux from a usb flash drive?
I've been looking at a USB flash drive for a while, and I think I'm going to finally buy one (the Soyo "Cig@r Pro 2, for the curious).

One of the reasons I want that model in particular is that one can apparently boot from it, given the right motherboard support. This seems to me like a fantastic way to do Linux installs!

My question is this:

How can I make a Red Hat boot "disk" out of a flash drive? I know I could probably just use "dd" do write one of their floppy images out to the flash drive, except that RH now needs 2 floppies to install, and I'd rather not buy 2 flash drives ;-) RH does provide a nice .iso file for making bootable CDs that has all the requisite files - can this be used for such purposes?
