installing boatloader


I have a linux distro (Redhat 9.0) installed and Windows XP, I had to reinstall windows xp so my bootloader is gone (grub) how can i reinstall this w/o reinstalling redhat.

Boot up with your Redhat rescue floppy.

Start it with a command: linux init 3 or let it boot up to the GUI and open a terminal.

Type the command:grub-install /dev/hda

If you don't have a rescue floppy you can use CDROM1 and use the command: linux rescue

after i do that i get a cammand line as
