Question Installing BIN-file


Hello!
I just won't to know how to instll the newest counter-strike server on linux RH7.3 It's a bin-file, where the old one was a tar.gz fil

chmod 755 filename.bin
./filename.bin

maybe u better uninstall the old version befor installing that
cd /srcdir/
'make uninstall' or 'make clean'
wouldn´t be wrong to try that

make clean would not be of any help since it just cleans up the source directory ... and very few programs tend to hold config for the make uninstall ...
