Installed Linux, dialing question

Okay, when running KDE, how do you dial out (yes, I have 56k access) to the net? My modem is working, yet I'm used to just opening the browser and having auto-dial. Thank you for any help offered. BTW, I'm running Debian GNU/Linux 3.0r2, 2.4 kernel with KDE.

Providing you installed the kdenetwork tools package you should ahve a utility called "kppp" which you can use for this.

Thanks for the help. That explained it, I guess I didn't install the kdenetwork tools. (Every time I think I'm starting to get the hang of all this, ... I find out I'm wrong. ) Thanks again guys.
