Because i set a root password at the begining of the installation it didn't downloaded the updates because it didn't set eth0 interface up, ( how i know ? : well i typed my password when everything was installed, and eth0 went up, it was not when i booted the fist time...) so it said the updates were up to dates, i didn't accessed the ftp servers where updates were avaibles, and well, the updates aren't up to date. a proof is that the gaim V was a 0.x.x i don't remember and also that alsaconf and sndconfig arn't working, just like harddrak(e) ... All this command were mentioned in the install... Is there a way to autoinstall the updates?
Hmmm i guesss urpmi.update -a will do but i need to source that are used to updates package instead of having the cds. I remember havign them on a previous installation of linux but i don't remember the link, a friend gave me it. IF any one know the website or the mirror/ftp/source plz post it/em here. there was a few. The website looked like a form php page with in first step, the distribution, step 2 : the ftp u wanted then its was generating a few lines of codes with and u were copying them and pastign them in you consol and it everything was auto. After this you don't need the cds anymroe to updates or install package. That seems to be the only way since i wanna take a reinstalling break ( around 2-3 per day ) and also the root password thing that i tested many times.
My package are updated hmmm ??? i couldn't run the install update in the mandrakelinux 10.1 installation so how can the be updated???... if they are then im missing package since alsaconf and sndconfig still not work.
OHlook like applying main updates with urpmi --keep --auto --auto-select after adding the source... And if it work after updating , I would like to thanks all of you ( everyone one ) for supporting me :P . May this post be a tutorial if it work!
Im gonna post the result tommorow!
