install module ip_queue !!!


Hi, i was trying to install an IPS software which require ip_tables and ip_queue.

when i enter modprobe ip_queue, it give me error message that this module is not found. but ip_tables is installed.

what i know is both ip_tables and ip_queue came together in NetFiler pacakge by defualt with the RHES.

how to add ip_queue to modprobe !!

if you're sure that the modules are properly installed, 'try depmod -ae' then load the modules. also do 'uname -r' to check if you're really using the right version of the kernel.

Also try:
Code:
find /lib/modules/`uname -r`/ -name 'ip_queue*'
To see if the module is properly installed.

i guess you simply need to recompile the kernel with the modules you require. you can read this howto if you don't know yet how: http://www.tldp.org/HOWTO/Kernel-HOWTO.html

the ip_queue.h is only a header file.
