Install Firefox 1.5.0.1.tar.gz with Fedora Core 3

I downloaded firefox 1.5.0.1.tar.gz to disk. Now, trying to install it with Fedora Core 3. Firefox installation instructions say 'Extract the tarball in the directory where you want to install Firefox, tar -xzvf firefox-1.5.0.1.tar.gz'. I have a 'firefox' folder in my larry/ directory but when I command 'tar -xzvf firefox-1.5.0.1.tar.gz' it says 'no such file or directory'. So, what should I do? Thanks, Larry

try extracting it in GUI by right clicking on the .tar.gz and extracting there.
