Instalation Windows boot loader from Linux???
I have a company's notebook with Win XP and HDD is encryptetd (SafeGuard Easy). Because I have any permiions to use WiFi, to install software, ... (IT security :-) I installed Ubuntu in my USB disk and hardware use I from Ubuntu. But problem is, that Grub reinstalled Windows boot loader and Grub don't see internal encryptetd harddisk with XP. I tried to boot from Win install CD and use fixmbr, but any install CD see internal HDD. But Ubuntu in my USB disk through command "sudo fdisk -l' (and also during Ubunt instalation) detect internal HDD. Is it possible from Ubuntu in USB disk to install (or make hard copy) Win boot loader in internal HDD? Thanx
