Greetings. I have an old Compaq Proliant server here that is hosting some internal web pages. It died a little while ago and I'm not quite sure how to proceed. I would much prefer to not have to rebuild the machine, however I may have to. What do you guys think about the following error and how I should continue in order to fix this.
___
init relocation error /lib/i686/libc.so.6: symbol __libc_ stack_end, version GLIBC_2.1 not defined in filed ld-linux.so.2 with link time reference.
kernel panic - Attempted to kill init!
___
Everything loaded just fine up until this point. I just started working here 2 days ago and don't know very much about this network or how its configured, so please be gentle

Fortunately this machine is only hosting some minor internal stuff.
Thanx very much for your help!
Nico
