I have a job interview on Monday to be a unix sys admin, it's just general system adminisration and maintenance. The job description itself is very vague and one of the responsibilities includes "indexing". Does anybody know what they mean by that?
It could also mean nothing. I usually find the requirements for jobs are prepared by the recruiter or HR who is not technical and sometimes plug-in a bunch of crap you'll never do or touch.
But usually in the technical world, the term index or indexing is exactly what the word means and how it's used in context.
