improving security of rox --pinboard icons

I have 12 boxes that autologin to Fluxbox with Rox --pinboard. There are four icons on the desktop. I have a cron job that deletes the /home and replaces it and the Fluxbox/Rox settings every night. These boxes are used by many people -- and I am aiming to have a simple setup that stops *most* users from tampering with the internals of the boxes. *Most* users simply get on with their tasks but there is always a user that has a little knowledge (my goodness! that's me :)) and finds what they shouldn't find. It is possible to see the desktop icons as text by right clicking on the icon and selecting this option. This, of course, opens ViM --- and that obviously opens a little doorway :( . I'd like to do one of two things ---

1 remove this option completely. How would I edit the menu to do this?? Would it be possible to remove the right click icon menu? That would be better.

2 stop users having access to ViM.

Also, I'd like to lock the icons in place. Is this a possibiltiy? My script puts everything back to the way it should be every morning but I'd prefer "locked" icons.

Thanks
