I never thought I'd get used to a tiling window manager.
 
Oh, how silly I was back then. Now I'm sad whenever I have to use a computer that doesn't do tiling. Manually moving and resizing windows? No thanks :)

Hi,

That is one of the advantages of using Gnu/Linux. Roll your own thus setting things up uniquely and serviceable to you. Yet if you want to be in step with fellow users then that too is viable.

never really tried a tiling window manger, but i do understand what you mean, i've gotten used to windowmaker which is about as far from the Windows GUI as you can get.

Which tiling WM do use use? I have recently changed to Xmonad, running in XFCE.
