I need RPM to tarball conversion

I have a series of apps on a CD, and at least 9/10 come with tarballs, but one does not, and I am not comfortable installign RPM's, only tarballs. Is there some way I can convert it to a tarball?

Matt

what distro are you running, if it's slackware, it should have rpm2tgz installed, that would work for what you want
