I need lists

People I need lists. I want lists of software and hardware of what you use on ubuntu. Kernel numbers would also be useful. Once I get enough lists I will combine them all together and I will contact the other linux communities asking
them for the same. If we can get enough people stating what works and with what kernel maybe we can get hardware and software companies to start printing tux on more packaging. Okay for the lists this is what I would like

* Distro Name
* Kernel Number
* What is it (hardware and software)
* Company Name (hardware and software)
* Chipset (If hardware)
* Version (software and hardware)
* Any special requirements (software and hardware)

Here is an example of quake 3 that I run

Distro Name: Ubuntu Dapper Beta
Kernel: 2.6.15-20-k7
What is it: Game
Made By: Id Software And Loki
Version: 1.32b
Special Requirements: 3d Acceleration, Keyboard & Mouse, Soundcard

Here is an example of hardware

Distro Name: Ubuntu Dapper Beta
Kernel: 2.6.15-20-k7
What is it: Wireless Networking Card
Made By: Broadcom
Chipset: 4306
Special Requirements: Ndiswrapper with windows driver and blacklisting linux native driver.

After I get a sufficiant enough list I will first post a list of all gathered software and hardware in all linux forums I can find as well as submit to companies telling them their hardware/software works with linux and any special requirements. My goal here is simple. SHOW ME THE TUX BABY!

Ummm....I think lists like this already exist.

Besides that, I'm not sure getting vendors to just put a tux logo on hardware is a good idea. I have an old Riptide Combo card that "works" on linux, but I had to do a lot of work to get it running. It does "work" on linux, but I'd hate for the company to make that claim because 9/10 newbies wouldn't be able to make it work...

I only would want a tux logo if the kernel can setup the hardware without any user intervention. It would have to be completely idiot proof and plug and play...

while one does exist im looking for newer and yes i agree i wouldnt submit anything that you had to recompile the kernel just to make it work im talking about more or less plug and play same with software installing a few packages isnt a big deal but if you have to edit this tweak that and so forth its not worth it

I'm sorry, but I don't know what this sentence says....
