I have installed j2sdk-1_4_0-linux-i386-rpm.bin.pls tell me how to set the path
 
Dear all,
I have installed j2sdk-1_4_0-linux-i386-rpm.bin in ito redhat linux 7.0 machine succussfully.

now I don't know how to set the path.

now I am in root mode . I typed
#java . I got a message "command not found"

pls help me
Note:
java is installed /usr/java folder with all the files.
