i c my linux disk in windows
hi guys
i installed linux on ntfs partition in win2000. my linux is working properly. but my windows shows the drive as it was previously but with 0 bytes capacity... wt to do waiting for some replies bye |
Gueez who would install Linux on a NTFS Partition ?

Linux cannot actually install on an NTFS partition unless you are using a special program which creates a folder on your current drive that holds Linux in a way similar to a virtual machine.
If you installed Linux onto a partition, Win2K and XP will see that partition, but it will not see it as a unusable file system. However, Windows is fully capable of deleting or formatting that partition if someone got Admin rights on Windows. Be careful about that. |
can i make such that my windows doesnt detect this partition by any means or do i need to install linux again
