Hi
I am new to Linux and Hylafax however i was tempted by the features hylafax has to offer. I installed the software and ran "faxsetup" to configure it. Although I am able to dial out using wvdial using the modem installed at /dev/ttyS0, I am not able to dial out with cu according to the link
http://www.hylafax.org/content/Handb...ing_your_Modem
When I run cu -l ttyS0 or cu -l /dev/ttyS0, i get a "Line in use" error. Where do I start? We know the modem is working and that linux sees it because of wvdial. Here is the info returned by wvdialconf

Modem Port Scan <*1>: S2 S3 S4 S5 S6 S7
then it tries to test ttyS1 and fails (ok i think)
Environment:
- Open suse 11.3
- KDE
- Multitech modem as you can see above.
Any help is greatly appreciated
