Howto undo sudo apt-get install libstdc++6:i386

Blindly followed an install procedure that I was given. How do I undo what I have done. I am running 64 bit UBUNTU 12.04. I want to get back to the original libstdc++ etc.

The steps that I blindly followed are:

sudo apt-get install libstdc++6:i386
sudo apt-get install libncurses5:i386
sudo apt-get install libbncursesw5-dev:i386
**gcc was uninstalled so I install it again
sudo apt-get install gcc

qtcreator 3.1.1 based on Qt 5.2.1 no longer runs has error:

proberts@mast3:~/Downloads$ qtcreator
libGL error: failed to load driver: swrast
libGL error: Try again with LIBGL_DEBUG=verbose for more details.
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Look in synaptic and see what versions are available is all I can guess.
Maybe you can rollback to your previous version.

Synaptic>Packagename>Properties>Versions

First look at
Quote:
sudo apt-cache show libstdc++6
This show you all availbe versions of the program and which version(s) are installed
I'm sure you have install all 64bit versions. If so you can remove the i386 pakages with
Quote:
sudo apt-get --purge remove [packagename]
