howto adjust the speed of the mouse curser KDE debian

i just replaced my older USB scroll mouse with a USB trackball. both made by logitech if that matters. the mouse curser was a little more controllable and moved a bit slower across the screen. i would like to know how to adjust the speed of the curser with the trackball.

in windows i could just right click and get to mouse settings, but how do i get to something like that in KDE under debian. i am running the latest vs of KDE (i think i have 3.4, i know it is no lower then 3.3) and my kernel is the 2.6.8

Select Preferences->Perphials->Mouse
Click the "Advanced" tab
Change what you'd like to (I'd start with the Acc. rate)
