Question How to use .img.gz files......

Ello Folks,

I have downloaded the following file from Dell;

2.1esws-dd-multi-i386.img.gz

Its driver updates for RedHat 2.1 ES and a Dell Poweredge 1750.

Can anyone tell me how to use an image file? I've never come across one before. I need to get it onto floppy.

Whay do I do with it?!?

Thanks for any help

This is only a guess base on the file extension
1. you need to uncompress the file
gunzip 2.1esws-dd-multi-i386.img.gz

2. if you want it to be in a floppy
dd if=2.1esws-dd-multi-i386.img of=/dev/fd0
