[SOLVED] how to use a proxy IP

Dear all,

I have to use a proxy to get access to one website only.
So, I wonder whether there is a way add the proxy IP after the website address.
It seems I saw that somewhere but can't get it again.
It was something like:

http://blabla.com,127.0.0.1/1000

where 127.0.0.1 was the proxy IP and 1000 the port.

no, that's not possible at all. How are you trying to use it? If it's a normal browser, then you'd set it in the preferences somewhere. If it's a script or some such, setting the environmental variable HTTP_PROXY=http://proxy

Or, there are some websites that allow you to access a website via a web interface. You just type in an address, and they open it via their server. Google for proxy sites and you're good to go.
