How to set page limit per user in CUPS ?

Good evening,.

I wish to give each user on my server the abiulty to print n pages untill i give him more qouta.

To understand how to do it i understood that i need to set it per day qouta so i did the next (as root ):

Code:
/usr/sbin/lpadmin -p cups-pdf -o job-quota-period=86400 -o job-page-limit=1
so each user will be able to print on the printer cups-pdf only 1 page per day.

so i sued to user foo and started to print but he was able to print as many as i press on print.

What am i doing wrong ?

using Lenny.
Code:
acerium:/etc/cups# cat cupsd.conf

I've never looked into quota myself, but a browse of the CUPS website and
their support forums suggests that you need PyKota to be able to do that.

Cheers,
Tink
