How to run PKI

You could read about the PKI in the following book.
http://ospkibook.sourceforge.net/
I am running FC5.

You will find the following command in that book.

CA_Admin% openssl genrsa –des3 –out ca.key 2048

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
[root@c83-250-99-43 Nissanka]# openssl genrsa –des3 –out ca.key 2048
usage: genrsa [args] [numbits]
-des encrypt the generated key with DES in cbc mode
-des3 encrypt the generated key with DES in ede cbc mode (168 bit key)
-aes128, -aes192, -aes256
encrypt PEM output with cbc aes
-out file output the key to 'file
-passout arg output file pass phrase source
-f4 use F4 (0x10001) for the E value
-3 use 3 for the E value
-engine e use engine e, possibly a hardware device.
-rand file:file:...
load the file (or the files in the directory) into
the random number generator
[root@c83-250-99-43 Nissanka]#
----------------------------------------------------------------------
What is the problem? Do I have to install software? If so what?

The following is my path.
[root@c83-250-99-43 Nissanka]# $PATH
bash: /usr/kerberos/sbin:/usr/kerberos/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/X11R6/bin:/home/Nissanka/bin: No such file or directory
[root@c83-250-99-43 Nissanka]#

Let me guess: you copied and pasted that into your shell?
and happened to overlook that the - turned into \u2013?

And you're still posting your IP. And you're running
stuff as root.

Cheers,
Tink

Yes, make sure you have just a single normal dash before des3 and out.
