Question how to remove mandriva installed alongside kubuntu and xp

hello, well this is my first question so i'd just go on with it

so, i have win xp and kubuntu 12.04 installed in my acer laptop and now i want to install mandriva 2011 in a different partition.. see the problem is i can install mandriva but if i dont like it then how can i remeve mandriva. just by formatting the mandriva partition or there is any other way around to remove if i dont end up liking mandriva. coz, i really dont want to get in problems with either kubuntu or xp. i want both of them as it is now.
please help me out here.
