how to remove grub loader from linux 7.3

hi

i have win2k and linux 7.3 installed on my pc. when i boot my pc it loads grub and then show me the screen to select the operation system to load (Redhat linux 7.3 or Windows 2000). This is working perfectly. now i m running on low disk space on windows 2000 as there is no more space on windows partition. i want to use some part of linux partition (the whole linux is installed on single partition of 20 GB). for this i have to remove linux from my pc if linux is removed then my pc searches for the grub (i have tried it earlier but failed) as grub is there on linux (pc always loads grub then show the list). now i want to remove grub from my pc so that it can load the windows 2000 properly and i can use the linux space.

can any one help me in this case..will be very thankful

puru

You can remove lilo from the mbr with
/sbin/lilo -u
You can remove grub or lilo from the mbr by booting with a Windows 98 boot floppy (at the prompt, type fdisk /mbr), or by using the Windows XP Recovery Console or the Windows 2000 Recovery Console
