How to remotely accesss box via ssh

How would I remotely access my box via SSH? I have a base Gentoo installation with the exception of the touchpad working and would like to remotely work on it from work during my hour lunch break. How would I go about doing this with a dynamic IP address? Thanks.

I'm looking to do this from the command line on my rooted android. I don't mind getting my hands dirty with a little programming either.

No programming needed. I myself use the service of no-ip.com for accessing my systems remotely, the software is installed on the system you want to access and you have to set up port-forwarding in your router. After that you should be able to use any SSH client on any machine to connect to your system.

OK so I installed noip on my Gentoo box as well as ssh, how do I port forward my router to accept incoming wan/remote connections?

UPDATE: what server IP Address do I use?? I'm guessing my public ip?

The server IP will be automatically transmitted to the no-ip service once you have started the software (of course after configuring it).
How you set up port-forwarding depends on your router, just look into the manual.
