how to recover GRUb of FC2 ???

hello friend
i m trying to Recover the grub of FC2
by using that Rescue mode and then giving the following command
chroot /mnt/sysimage
/sbin/grub-install /dev/hda

but these commmand are not working here and giving message of like that file not found

tell me what i do for that ..... is there any special technique for it
waiting for reply

here there

before u run chroot /mnt/sysimage

do u get a message from the proces that a pre-installed linux was found and is at /mnt/sysimage

and are u sure that u were running grub and not lilo
